Precise Chiropractic Adjustments | Gonstead Chiropractor in West Omaha, NE
Hi, I’m Dr. Joel Marley, Clinic Director at Family First Chiropractic. I’m here to explain the importance of the five criteria we use to determine subluxation.
How We Use Thermography
Instrumentation is one of these criteria. We use thermography to assess nerve irritation and inflammation in the spine. One tool we use is the Titron infrared thermography scanner. This device scans along the patient’s spine to monitor their response to changes in their pattern, helping us identify when and where adjustments are needed. By analyzing the intensity of inflammation—whether it appears as red hot or as a lesser degree of heat indicating tone or tension—we can enhance our specificity and achieve the best results.
Delta T Thermography
Another tool we use is the Delta T thermography unit. This device examines the spine and helps narrow down potential areas of nerve pressure, indicated by the dial in the center of the scope. Similarly, the Nerveoscope examines the patient’s spine to determine their response, helping us decide when, where, and how to adjust.
These objective criteria are integral to our Family First Chiropractic services, ensuring our patients receive the best results and outcomes.
