Why X-rays are Critical to Chiropractic Care | Gonstead Chiropractor in West Omaha, NE

Hello, I’m Dr. Joel Marley with Family First Chiropractic. Today, I’m here to discuss the importance of X-rays or spinal radiographs in the Gonstead chiropractic system.

Role of X-rays

X-rays are essential for understanding the full biomechanical structure of the patient. They allow the doctor to make specific measurements and analyze the spinal alignment. Lateral (side) X-rays help determine the spine’s curvature and alignment from the side, while Anterior-Posterior (A-P) X-rays provide views from the front, helping to assess overall spinal symmetry.

Importance of a Solid Foundation

In the Gonstead chiropractic system, a solid foundation starts with the hips and pelvis. Accurate measurements and line drawing analysis from X-rays are crucial for identifying misalignments and ensuring that adjustments are tailored for the best results.

Benefits

By using X-rays, we can achieve a comprehensive understanding of the patient’s biomechanical structure. This enables us to provide the most effective adjustments, promoting optimal health, function, and overall well-being.

Family First Chiropractic

It’s different here. That is something we hear often at Family First Chiropractic, and we take pride in the fact that we are different from many chiropractic offices you may have been in. That certainly doesn’t mean we are the right fit for everyone, but here at Family First Chiropractic, we make an effort to help you know if we are the right fit for you.
