Using Visualization for the Best Health Outcomes | Gonstead Chiropractor in West Omaha, NE
Hello, I’m Dr. Joel Marley with Family First Chiropractic. Today, I’m here to describe visualization, one of the objective criteria in the Gonstead chiropractic system.
What is Visualization?
When a patient arrives, even before we physically examine their spine, we begin by visualizing their overall condition. We observe their gait pattern to check for any labored movement or limping. We also assess their posture to identify deviations from the normal alignment, which might indicate nerve pressure or subluxation.
What We Look For
In addition, we examine the patient’s skin for signs that may reflect underlying issues. This includes focal red spots, acne, blemishes, edema (swelling), and hair patterns. These visual indicators provide valuable insights into the patient’s spine and overall health.
Combined with the other objective criteria, visualization helps the Gonstead chiropractor determine the specific adjustments needed for optimal patient outcomes.
