How Chiropractic Helped My Kids
Cooper and Charlie’s Story
Initially Abbey came in to address her own aches and pains. She had no idea what she would learn about how chiropractic could help children too. After learning more about the body and how it functions, bringing the boys in for a spine and nervous system checkup was definitely something she didn’t want to skip.
Here’s their story:
Both of my boys had traumatic births. With Charlie labor just wasn’t progressing and ended in an abrupt c-section. With Cooper we planned a c-section but he still ended up needing a vacuum to get him out. After going through my own new patient exam and learning about subluxations and how they are caused, I knew I needed to get them checked.
They had both struggled with constipation since birth. They’d go once a week if we were lucky. We tried high fiber foods and then resorted to MiraLAX daily, which was still not a guarantee they would go. It caused a lot of stress and worry for everyone in the family. Cooper also struggled with sinus infections and congestion constantly. It seemed like his little immune system just couldn’t keep up.
Within just a few months of adjustments, we have seen so much improvement with their digestion. Charlie no longer deals with constipation. And Cooper has no more pain going and is more regular. Cooper has had decreased sickness too! They both have more energy than ever. They eat better and aren’t bloated anymore.
What I have learned about chiropractic care is that it isn’t just a band aid. It helps so many aspects of your health that you never thought about before.
